The Harvard Din & Tonics
Today we had a chance to go and see The Harvard Din & Tonics at Royal Selangor Golf & Country Club together with Sebastian and Gigi. It was fun even though the food was quite bad and you sort of got the hang of the student choir after a few songs.

I have realized that post-processing scuba diving pictures are extremely important. Just by applying some simple enhancements the images becomes much clearer. It seems especially important to compensate for the color red and to slightly underexpose the pictures.

People starting to sit down for dinner
Today we had a combined birthday party for me and Eric. The venue was Eric’s apartment building and the BBQ was on full steam all day.
A friend recommended a SGP case for the iPad and I agree that it’s really cool. The case arrived today and I’m totally happy with it, perfect fit and exactly as cool as on the pictures.

Also made my way past Sim Lim Square to try to get hold of a iPad. After running around in a lot of shops haggling for price I decided to pay a premium to get hold of one finally…
Ended up with a 64GB 3G version which is really nice so far. It is truly a great concept even though it will never replace a stationary computer.

IKEA Singapore
Under 18 and in school uniform...
Passing by Singapore for meetings this week allowed me to pass by IKEA to stack up on some good holesome non-halal stuff that is needed for true midsummer feeling. Specifically Swedish vodka, matjesill and of course some Swedish candy like salt liquorish.
Woke up early this morning and there was a beautiful morning sky. Snapped some pictures with the tripod and created a HDR file of a sequence.

Went up at 5:30 this morning to go and play golf at a course I haven’t played before (Tasik Puteri). Really nice course and I must say it ranks among the top three ones I’ve played in KL area.

Classy ride to the jetty
Not the safest load of tree trunks
Today it was time to make our way back to KL to meet up with the parents again. The hotel gave us a classy ride in a tractor down to the jetty. On the way back there was a lot of timber trucks on the motorway and it didn’t feel to safe looking on how they secured the load.
